Most homeowners don't think much about their window wells - until something goes wrong. Water pooling at the base, rusted-out steel, a well that's sunk below grade, or a cover that's cracked and letting debris pile up. By the time those problems show up, there's usually more going on beneath the surface.

We work on window wells in just about every situation you can imagine. Fresh installs next to patios and decks where the grade has to be worked around carefully. Replacement wells on homes where the original galvanized steel has rusted through over the years. Egress window wells cut into tight spots along foundation walls. Each setup comes with its own set of challenges - and that's kind of the point. Cookie-cutter solutions don't work here.

The details matter more than people realize. Drainage gravel at the base. Proper grading so water sheds away from the well instead of pooling. Making sure the well sits at the right height relative to the window and the surrounding surface - whether that's concrete, pavers, or a wood deck. A well that looks fine from the outside can still be a problem if the drainage isn't right underneath.

Covers are part of it too. A good window well cover keeps out debris, keeps small animals out, and still allows for egress if needed. We work with clear covers, grate-style covers, and custom-fit options depending on what the well and the homeowner actually need. Not every cover fits every well, and getting that wrong creates more headaches down the road.

We offer free inspections and estimates throughout Denver and the surrounding counties. If you've got a well that's been on your radar - rusted, improperly graded, missing a cover, or just overdue for a look - we're happy to come out and tell you exactly what you're dealing with. No pressure, just an honest assessment.
