A lot of homeowners don't think about their window wells until water shows up in the basement. By that point, the damage is already done. Old, worn-out wells with poor drainage and bad slope are one of the most common - and most overlooked - causes of basement water intrusion. That's exactly what we were dealing with here.

We pulled out the old wells, which were holding debris, standing water, and had zero proper slope to move water away from the foundation. Once those were out, we set new wells, corrected the grade around each one, and made sure water had a clear path away from the house instead of toward it. Getting the slope right is the part that actually makes the difference long-term - a new well sitting in the wrong position is just a slow leak waiting to happen.

With the new wells set and properly sealed against the foundation, we added fresh drain rock at the base of each one to give water somewhere to go. Then we topped everything off with new covers to keep leaves, debris, and critters from piling up inside and causing problems all over again. Clean wells with good covers are low-maintenance. Neglected ones are not.

And it's not just window wells - we handle the full picture when it comes to protecting and cleaning up your yard. Retaining walls, artificial turf, xeriscape, landscaping - all of it ties together when you're trying to manage water and keep your property looking sharp. A well-built retaining wall with clean grading does as much for water management as any well replacement.

Whether you've got a well that's filling with water, a yard that needs serious grading work, or you're just not sure what's going on around your foundation - we offer free inspections and estimates. No pressure, just a straight look at what's actually happening and what it would take to fix it.
