Most window wells don't get much attention until something goes wrong - rusting out, filling with debris, or just not meeting egress requirements. That's usually when homeowners start realizing how much they actually matter. A worn-out well isn't just an eyesore. It's a safety issue, and in some cases a code issue too.

We handle the full scope of this work. That means removing the old well, installing a properly sized replacement, and finishing the area so it looks intentional when we're done. Some setups call for gravel, others get pavers or concrete surrounds. The finish depends on what fits the space and what the homeowner actually wants. No two jobs look exactly the same.

Covers are a big part of what we do as well. Clear polycarbonate covers keep debris and water out while still letting light through to the basement. We also install mesh covers and egress-rated covers with ladder access built right in - the kind that let someone get out quickly if they need to. For deeper egress wells, we carry options with stone-look liner panels that clean up the interior in a serious way.

The work we do isn't complicated to describe, but it does take knowing what you're doing. Getting the well seated correctly, sealed against the foundation, and finished cleanly around the edges makes a real difference in how long it holds up. We've done this across a lot of different homes and exterior types - siding, brick, stacked stone - and we match the approach to what's actually there.

If your current wells are beat up, undersized, or just missing covers entirely, we offer a free inspection quote. Rick at Colorado Outdoor Life LLC will come take a look and tell you straight what needs to happen and what it'll cost.
