Most basement water problems don't start with a crack in the foundation. They start at the window well. A well that's got bad grading, no drainage, or a worn-out seal is basically an invitation for water to find its way in. Left alone, that becomes a much bigger - and more expensive - problem.

We handle the full scope of window well work. New steel well installations, egress window wells sized for proper egress compliance, foundation reconditioning and sealing around the opening, drainage gravel beds, and fitted covers that keep debris and rain out while still letting light through. Whether the well is sitting flush against a deck, tucked into a gravel bed, or part of a walk-out basement setup, we size and install it correctly for the specific situation.

The covers matter more than most people realize. A clear, properly fitted window well cover keeps rainwater from pooling inside the well and putting pressure on the window seal below. It also keeps leaves, animals, and debris from packing in and clogging drainage. We fit covers tight to the well so they actually do their job - not just sit on top loosely.

Every job also gets a close look at the surrounding grade and drainage. If the ground is sloping toward the well instead of away from it, water is going to find a way in no matter how new the window is. We address that as part of the install, not as an afterthought.

No two setups are exactly alike - house styles, siding types, foundation materials, and yard grades all factor in. That's why we offer free inspections. We come out, assess what's actually happening, and give you a straight answer on what needs to be done.
