Most homeowners don't think about their window wells until something goes wrong - water in the basement, a cracked well liner, debris filling up faster than they can clean it out. By then, it's usually a bigger fix than it needed to be. That's exactly why we offer free inspections, so you can get ahead of it before a small issue turns into a costly one.

When we come out for an inspection, we're looking at the full picture. The window well itself, the cover if there is one, how water is grading away from the foundation, where your downspouts are directing runoff, and whether the drainage around the well is doing its job. Any one of those things can be the reason water is finding its way in.

We've seen everything from brand new egress window wells sitting in standing water because the gravel bed wasn't deep enough, to old grate-style covers that are letting in debris and blocking what little drainage exists. We've also seen wells that look completely fine from the outside but are quietly holding moisture against the foundation. It adds up over time.

Whether it's a new window well installation, a replacement cover, or just peace of mind that things are set up right - we handle it. As a family-owned business, we're not here to sell you something you don't need. We'd rather take a look, tell you what we see, and have an honest conversation about what makes sense for your home.

If you've got a basement window you've been meaning to have someone check out, fall is a good time to do it before the ground freezes and rain picks up. Give us a call - no pressure, no sales pitch, just a straight answer on what's going on with your window wells.
